A: This film is dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which causes confusion and violence. Mostly if something really life-threatening or something that damage the emotional health, it leads to PTSD. Symptoms of PTSD are re-experiencing the traumatic event, avoiding reminders of the trauma, and increased anxiety and emotional arousal. Charlie who is the main character of the movie seems to try his best to avoid reminding him self of his lost family. He avoids people who knows him well because they might remind Charlie of his past.
2. Explain how this disorder is usually treated. Was this how it was treated in the film? Explain how it was dealt with in the film.
A: Usually PTSD can be treated with therapy, and it was through therapy that Charlie have been cured. Therapies include Trauma-Focused cognitive - behavioral therapy, and Family therapy. But in this movie it seems like they mostly use the cognitive behavioral therapy. Alan is worried for his friend and believes that Charlie really needs help. Alan takes Charlie to a therapist which actually helps Charlie to become happy.
3. What you learned from watching this film.
A: I've learned the causes of PTSD and the way to cure them. I have realized that the consequences of PTSD can be very dangerous.
4. Your reason for choosing this film.
A: I chose this film because I've watched the trailer and I thought it would be interesting. And also I love Adam Sandler.
5. Your assessment of your work done and why you should receive the grade you desire.

Reason for grade: Because I have never wasted time during class by talking to my friends or doing other assignments.
Depth of work done 13/15
Reason for grade: I did quite well but I think it is not the best. I have tried my hardest.
